Zalando
As a principal product designer at Zalando, I was responsible for leading the design strategy and vision for the development of key pillars within a new business unit that is building a B2B logistics ecosystem. My primary focus was on the support and article management areas, where I worked to define and execute a user-centric design direction that balanced business needs with user experiences.
Leading Design Strategy & Vision
By tapping into existing user insights and conducting extensive competitive research, I helped define strategies and vision that enhances user self sufficiency which in turn boosts internal operational efficiency and user satisfaction rates. I collaborated closely with major stakeholders, product managers, and engineers, to provide guidance on building a user centric roadmap using design thinking methods.

From Ideation to Execution
My role also involved leading the design process from ideation to execution, creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes that effectively communicated vision and functionality. By contributing to early-staged design system, I ensured that the platform's design solutions were scalable, flexible, sustainable, and aligned with the evolving requirements of a complex logistics environment.

Advancing Design Collaboration & Maturity
Throughout my time, I contributed to elevating the design maturity of the product organisation, advocating for user-centred design principles, and improving collaboration between design, engineering, marketing and business teams. I strived to involve stakeholders in all stages of the design process.
