Espresso House
As the main product designer representing Apegroup at Espresso House, I redesigned their mobile app and played a key role in implementing their new branding across the platform. My primary focus was to create an intuitive, user-friendly app experience that reflected the refreshed brand identity while solving key user pain points. One of the major additions was a long-requested feature that allowed customers to pre-order directly from the app, streamlining the ordering process and enhancing customer satisfaction.
🎯 10000x in app orders first month
🎯 500k active users per month
🎯 5+ market deployments
🎯 1.2 million loyalty members
🎯 Purchases through the App equivalent to opening 2 new shops (in Sweden less than 1 year after launch)
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams
Throughout the project, I worked closely with product owners, backend developers, and internal teams at Espresso House to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment. Our agency supported both the design and front-end development efforts, providing seamless integration of the new features into the app. I played an active role in guiding the design direction and collaborating with the backend team to ensure that the technical implementation was in sync with the user experience.

Impact and Outcomes
My work at Espresso House had a direct impact on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. By revamping the app and introducing the pre-order feature, we addressed a critical user need and improved the overall experience. Additionally, the redesigned barista system supported a more efficient in-store process, reinforcing the connection between the app and physical locations. The collaboration between Apegroup and Espresso House internal teams led to a successful product that aligned with business goals while delighting customers.

Identifying Business & Design Opportunities
Beyond my core design work, I actively collaborated with Apegroup’s business directors and design director to identify business and design opportunities for Espresso House. By analyzing user insights and market trends, we were able to pitch strategic ideas that aligned with both user needs and business goals. This proactive approach helped drive innovation within the project, positioning our team as key contributors to Espresso House's digital transformation.
